Wheaton Warriors (Wheaton, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ashby Arrows (Ashby, MN), 62-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wheaton upgrades its record to 8-10 on the season. The Warriors travel to Battle Lake (Battle Lake, MN) to clash with the Battlers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Battlers go into the bout with a record of 9-12. Battle Lake lost 79-72 in their recent league bout against Underwood (Underwood, MN)

Next up, the Arrows clash with the West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN) in a A Section 6 bout, on Friday, February 9. Ashby will attempt to upgrade on its 9-14 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 16-3 record after their 79-56 non-league win over Park Rapids (Park Rapids, MN).
