The Crater Comets basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Ashland Grizzlies to 35 in the Comets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Comets now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Eugene for a 5A Midwestern contest on Friday, February 9. Crater will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 88-55 league win over Springfield (Springfield, OR). The Highlanders record now stands at 18-2.
The Grizzlies (5-14) will now prepare for their contest against Springfield (Springfield, OR). The Millers enter the 5A Midwestern contest with a 4-15 record. In their last contest, Springfield was routed by North Eugene (Eugene, OR), 88-55, in a league contest.
