The Hale Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Au Gres-Sims Wolverines to 27 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Posen for a North Star contest on Friday, February 9. Hale will meet a Vikings team coming off a 72-8 league win over Fairview (Fairview, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 11-6.
The Wolverines (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Atlanta (Atlanta, MI). The Huskies enter the North Star contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Atlanta was routed by Hillman (Hillman, MI), 82-18, in a league contest.
