The Baraga Vikings basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Republic-Michigamme Hawks to 46 in the Vikings non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Dickinson for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Baraga will battle a Nordics team coming off a 78-36 league loss to Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI). The Nordics record now stands at 8-9.

The Hawks (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Jeffers (Painesdale, MI). The Jets enter the Copper Mountain - Copper County contest with a 17-1 record. In their last contest, Jeffers ran past Lake Linden-Hubbell (Lake Linden, MI), 73-49, in a league contest.
