Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Marshall Bobcats (Marshall, AR), 79-67 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bay upgrades its record to 23-13 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Armorel (Armorel, AR) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Friday, February 9. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 5-18. Armorel lost 69-36 in their recent non-league battle against Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR)

The Bobcats (21-8) will now prepare for their battle against Clinton (Clinton, AR). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league battle with a 19-6 record. In their last battle, Clinton beat Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR), 69-58, in a league battle.
