Bear Creek Grizzlies (Redmond, WA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Overlake Owls (Redmond, WA), 63-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Bear Creek upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Seattle Academy (Seattle, WA) to clash with the Cardinals in a 1A Emerald Sound bout on Saturday, February 10. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 14-6. Seattle Academy won 71-54 in their recent league bout against Granite Falls (Granite Falls, WA)

Next up, the Owls clash with the Eastside Prep (Kirkland, WA) in a 1A Emerald Sound bout, on Thursday, February 8. Overlake will attempt to upgrade on its 7-14 season record. The go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 74-34 non-league win over Shoreline Christian (Seattle, WA).
