The Cascade Cougars basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Beckman Trailblazers to 51 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maquoketa for a River Valley contest on Friday, February 9. Cascade will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 70-64 non-league win over Bellevue (Bellevue, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 14-7.
Next up, the Trailblazers play the Bellevue Comets (Bellevue, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Beckman will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 70-64 non-league loss to Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA).
