Minnesota High School Basketball - Lester Prairie can't hold off Belle Plaine

The Belle Plaine Tigers basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Lester Prairie Bulldogs to 69 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Ulm for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Belle Plaine will battle a Eagles team coming off a 100-70 non-league win over Waseca (Waseca, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 13-7.
The Bulldogs (12-13) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Norwood-Young America, MN). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 6-16 record. In their last contest, Central was nudged by St. Peter (St. Peter, MN), 82-64, in a non-league contest.
