The Garretson Blue Dragons basketball team (Garretson, SD), was overwhelmed 60-39 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Beresford Watchdogs (Beresford, SD)
The Watchdogs now possess a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elk Point-Jefferson for a A Region 4 battle on Friday, February 9. Beresford will confront a Huskies team coming off a 87-68 league loss to Dakota Valley (North Sioux City, SD). The Huskies record now stands at 5-11.
The Blue Dragons (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD). The Elks come into the non-league battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Elkton/Lake Benton trounced Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD), 67-43, in a league battle.
