Texas High School Basketball - Harleton ripped by Big Sandy

The Big Sandy Wildcats basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Harleton Wildcats to 43 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 12-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Linden-Kildare for a 2A Region III District 21 contest on Friday, February 9. Big Sandy will battle a Tigers team coming off a 56-18 league loss to Ore City (Ore City, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 0-15.

The Wildcats (7-19) will now prepare for their contest against Union Grove (Gladewater, TX). The Lions enter the 2A Region III District 21 contest with a 12-14 record. In their last contest, Union Grove was routed by McLeod (McLeod, TX), 66-51, in a league contest.
