The Bloom Blazing Trojan (Chicago Heights, IL) basketball knocked off the host Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL), 55-42 in Tuesday's league test.
The Blazing Trojan (15-8) will now prepare for their test against Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL). The Raptors go into the Southland test with a 20-7 record. In their last test, Rich Township notched a victory over Thornridge (Dolton, IL), 87-45, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 12-14 record. They play next when they travel to Kankakee for a Southland test on Friday, February 9. Crete-Monee will encounter a Kays squad coming off a 73-63 league win over Thornwood (South Holland, IL). The Kays record now stands at 21-3.
