The Our Lady of the Lakes Lakers (Waterford, MI) basketball knocked off the visiting Cabrini Monarchs (Allen Park, MI), 48-31 in Tuesday's league test.

The Lakers (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Austin Catholic (Chesterfield, MI). The Crusaders go into the non-league test with a 7-8 record. In their last test, Austin Catholic notched a victory over Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit (West Bloomfield, MI), 80-48, in a league test.

The Monarchs now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they host Universal Academy for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 7. Cabrini will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 96-18 non-league loss to New Haven (New Haven, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 6-9.
