In Tuesday's league outing, the Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA) basketball squad beat the host Camanche Indians (Camanche, IA), by a margin of 69-53.

The Panthers (18-1) will now prepare for their outing against Northeast (Goose Lake, IA). The Rebels go into the River Valley outing with a 12-9 record. In their last outing, Northeast defeated Anamosa (Anamosa, IA), 82-52, in a league outing.

The Indians now own a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Wilton for a River Valley outing on Thursday, February 8. Camanche will clash with a Beavers squad coming off a 71-70 league win over Regina (Iowa City, IA). The Beavers record now stands at 13-7.
