The White Shield Warriors basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Center-Stanton Wildcats to 51 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parshall/North Shore for a non-league contest on Monday, February 12. White Shield will battle a Braves team coming off a 61-54 league loss to Powers Lake/Burke Central (Powers Lake, ND). The Braves record now stands at 8-9.
The Wildcats (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] (Elgin, ND). The enter the non-league contest with a 5-11 record. In their last contest, Grant County co-op [Carson/Elgin-New Leipzig/Mott-Regent] was defeated by Flasher (Flasher, ND), 75-54, in a league contest.
