Centerpoint Knights (Amity, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Genoa Central Dragons (Texarkana, AR), 66-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Centerpoint upgrades its record to 16-9 on the season. The Knights host Bismarck (Bismarck, AR) to clash with the Lions in a 3A Region 7 bout on Friday, February 9. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-19. Bismarck lost 58-47 in their recent league bout against Prescott (Prescott, AR)

Next up, the Dragons clash with the Harmony Grove Cardinals (Benton, AR) in a 3A Region 7 bout, on Friday, February 9. Genoa Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-17 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 24-2 record after their 54-53 league win over Glen Rose (Malvern, AR).
