East St. John Wildcats (Reserve, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Central Lafourche Trojans (Raceland, LA), 60-47 in a league bout.

With the win, East St. John upgrades its record to 19-10 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Terrebonne (Houma, LA) to play the Tigers in a 5A District 7 bout on Thursday, February 8. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 18-14. Terrebonne won 80-63 in their recent league bout against Destrehan (Destrehan, LA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Thibodaux Tigers (Thibodaux, LA) in a 5A District 7 bout, on Friday, February 9. Central Lafourche will attempt to improve on its 14-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 7-21 record after their 59-40 league loss to Bourgeois (Gray, LA).
