The Rice Memorial Green Knights basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Champlain Valley Union Redhawks to 54 in the Green Knights league triumph on Tuesday.
The Green Knights now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellows Free Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Rice Memorial will meet a Bobwhites/Comets team coming off a 72-37 non-league loss to Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT). The Bobwhites/Comets record now stands at 8-9.
The Redhawks (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Burr & Burton ran past Mt. St. Joseph Academy (Rutland, VT), 54-40, in a league contest.
