Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mars succumbs to Chartiers Valley

February 6, 2024: Mars, PA 16046

The Chartiers Valley Colts topped the host Mars Fightin' Planets basketball team by a final score of 65-50 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Colts face the North Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 4 game, on Friday, February 9. Chartiers Valley will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 10-9 record after their 69-64 league loss to South Fayette (McDonald, PA).

With the defeat, Mars moves to 10-11 on the year. The Fightin' planets travel to Moon Area (Moon Township, PA) to face the Tigers in a WPIAL 5A 4 game on Thursday, February 8. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 16-2. Moon Area won 74-42 in their recent league game against West Allegheny (Imperial, PA)
