In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL) basketball squad edged the host Spain Park Jaguars (Hoover, AL), by a count of 46-45.
The Hornets (12-18) will now prepare for their outing against Oak Mountain (Birmingham, AL). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 14-15 record. In their last match, Oak Mountain tipped Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL), 49-44, in a non-league match.
With the defeat, Spain Park moves to 17-15 on the year.
