Chesapeake Panthers (Chesapeake, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Fairland Dragons (Proctorville, OH), 69-65 in a league bout.

With the win, Chesapeake upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Panthers travel to Rock Hill (Ironton, OH) to play the Redmen in a Ohio Valley bout on Friday, February 9. The Redmen go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Rock Hill won 71-68 in their recent league bout against Dawson-Bryant (Coal Grove, OH)

Next up, the Dragons play the Dawson-Bryant Hornets (Coal Grove, OH) in a Ohio Valley bout, on Friday, February 9. Fairland will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 3-16 record after their 71-68 league loss to Rock Hill (Ironton, OH).
