The Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf Lions basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Cheswick Christian Academy to 25 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.
The Lions now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pennsylvania School For The Deaf for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf will battle a team coming off a 38-32 non-league loss to Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf (Pittsburgh, PA). The record now stands at 2-3.
The (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Joseph (Natrona Heights, PA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 3-17 record. In their last contest, St. Joseph was routed by Aquinas Academy (Gibsonia, PA), 67-49, in a league contest.
