Thurston Colts (Springfield, OR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Churchill Lancers (Eugene, OR), 68-52 in a league bout.

With the win, Thurston upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Colts host North Eugene (Eugene, OR) to clash with the Highlanders in a 5A Midwestern bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 18-3. North Eugene lost 64-56 in their recent league bout against Crater (Central Point, OR)

Next up, the Lancers clash with the Eagle Point Eagles (Eagle Point, OR) in a 5A Midwestern bout, on Friday, February 9. Churchill will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 67-43 league loss to North Eugene (Eugene, OR).
