The Rivercrest Rebels basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the visiting Clarksville Tigers to 30 in the Rebels league victory on Tuesday.
The Rebels now sport a 14-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Detroit for a 2A Region II District 16 contest on Friday, February 9. Rivercrest will battle a Eagles team coming off a 75-24 league loss to Bowie (Simms, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-21.
The Tigers (3-21) will now prepare for their contest against Maud (Maud, TX). The Cardinals come into the 2A Region II District 16 contest with a 12-17 record. In their last contest, Maud prevailed over Harts Bluff (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 59-55, in a league contest.
