California High School Basketball - Middletown can't hold off Clear Lake

The Clear Lake Cardinals basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Middletown Mustangs to 41 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 17-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kelseyville for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Clear Lake will battle a Knights team coming off a 61-56 league win over St. Helena (St. Helena, CA). The Knights record now stands at 17-9.
The Mustangs (16-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. Helena (St. Helena, CA). The Saints enter the non-league contest with a 18-6 record. In their last contest, St. Helena was nudged by Kelseyville (Kelseyville, CA), 61-56, in a league contest.
