The Cobden Appleknockers basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Shawnee Redskins to 36 in the Appleknockers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Appleknockers now sport a 15-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Egyptian for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Cobden will battle a Pharaohs team coming off a 56-45 non-league win over Agape Christian (Energy, IL). The Pharaohs record now stands at 8-20.

The Redskins (10-16) will now prepare for their contest against Century (Ullin, IL). The Centurions come into the non-league contest with a 17-11 record. In their last contest, Century was routed by Hardin County (Elizabethtown, IL), 69-42, in a non-league contest.
