The Shaker Bison (Latham, NY) basketball nipped the host Columbia Blue Devils (East Greenbush, NY), 54-50 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bison (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Schenectady (Schenectady, NY). The Patriots go into the Section 2 Suburban - Gray test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Schenectady got by Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY), 67-52, in a league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Ballston Spa for a Section 2 Suburban - Gray test on Friday, February 9. Columbia will encounter a Scotties squad coming off a 74-58 league loss to Christian Brothers Academy (Albany, NY). The Scotties record now stands at 5-13.
