In Tuesday's league outing, the Mills University Studies Comets (Little Rock, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Crossett Eagles (Crossett, AR), by a margin of 69-41.
The Comets (19-8) will now prepare for their outing against Stuttgart (Stuttgart, AR). The Ricebirds go into the 4A Region 8 outing with a 10-15 record. In their last outing, Stuttgart smashed Hamburg (Hamburg, AR), 64-54, in a league outing.
The Eagles now own a 8-19 record. They play next when they host Monticello for a 4A Region 8 outing on Friday, February 9. Crossett will clash with a Billies squad coming off a 42-40 league loss to Watson Chapel (Pine Bluff, AR). The Billies record now stands at 8-16.
