The Sherman Bearcats basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Denison Yellow Jackets to 56 in the Bearcats league victory on Tuesday.

The Bearcats now sport a 27-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Princeton for a 5A Region II District 13 contest on Friday, February 9. Sherman will battle a Panthers team coming off a 58-52 league loss to Greenville (Greenville, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 8-18.

The Yellow Jackets (9-21) will now prepare for their contest against Princeton (Princeton, TX). The Panthers come into the 5A Region II District 13 contest with a 8-19 record. In their last contest, Princeton was defeated by Sherman (Sherman, TX), 63-49, in a league contest.
