The Shady Side Academy Bulldogs basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Derry Trojans to 56 in the Bulldogs league victory on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deer Lakes for a WPIAL 3A 3 contest on Friday, February 9. Shady Side Academy will battle a Lancers team coming off a 81-62 league win over Valley (New Kensington, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 17-3.

The Trojans (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA). The Rams come into the WPIAL 3A 3 contest with a 4-17 record. In their last contest, Ligonier Valley was defeated by Albert Gallatin (Uniontown, PA), 76-61, in a non-league contest.
