Early College Hornets (Dover, DE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lake Forest Spartans (Felton, DE), 49-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Early College upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Hornets travel to Indian River (Dagsboro, DE) to clash with the Indians in a Henlopen - Southern bout on Thursday, February 8. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 2-12. Indian River lost 75-27 in their recent league bout against Laurel (Laurel, DE)

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Woodbridge Raiders (Bridgeville, DE) in a Henlopen - Southern bout, on Thursday, February 8. Lake Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 8-7 record after their 69-65 league loss to Seaford (Seaford, DE).
