The East basketball team (Youngstown, OH), was nudged 73-71 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host West Branch Warriors (Beloit, OH)
The Warriors now possess a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salem for a Eastern Buckeye battle on Friday, February 9. West Branch will confront a Quakers team coming off a 69-39 non-league win over Poland Seminary (Poland, OH). The Quakers record now stands at 5-12.
The (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Chaney (Youngstown, OH). The Cowboys come into the Steel Valley battle with a 5-7 record.
