Hutchinson Salthawks (Hutchinson, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Eisenhower Tigers (Goddard, KS), 70-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hutchinson upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Salthawks travel to Maize (Maize, KS) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Maize won 62-56 in their recent non-league bout against Haysville Campus (Wichita, KS)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Salina Central Mustangs (Salina, KS) in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II bout, on Friday, February 9. Eisenhower will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 52-43 league loss to Andover Central (Andover, KS).
