Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ellendale Cardinals (Ellendale, ND), 71-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Leola/Frederick upgrades its record to 17-1 on the season. The Titans travel to Webster (Webster, SD) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Webster won 67-33 in their recent non-league bout against Northwestern Area (Mellette, SD)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Barnes County North co-op [North Central/Wimbledon-Courtenay] Bison (Rogers, ND) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Ellendale will attempt to upgrade on its 12-7 season record. The Bison go into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 51-48 league loss to Wyndmere/Lidgerwood (Wyndmere, ND).
