The Hathaway Hornets basketball team (Jennings, LA), was nudged 52-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons (Cade, LA)

The Falcons now possess a 19-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midland for a B District 6 battle on Friday, February 9. Episcopal of Acadiana will confront a Rebels team coming off a 69-62 league loss to Lacassine (Lacassine, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 15-13.

The Hornets (7-28) will now prepare for their battle against Bell City (Bell City, LA). The Bruins come into the B District 6 battle with a 9-17 record. In their last battle, Bell City was nudged by JS Clark Leadership Academy (Opelousas, LA), 68-41, in a league battle.
