The Westview Wolverines basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Escondido Cougars to 31 in the Wolverines league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now sport a 16-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to San Pasqual for a Valley contest on Friday, February 9. Westview will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 65-55 league win over Valley Center (Valley Center, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-22.

The Cougars (10-16) will now prepare for their contest against Fallbrook (Fallbrook, CA). The Warriors enter the Valley contest with a 12-14 record. In their last contest, Fallbrook was routed by Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA), 53-43, in a league contest.
