New York High School Basketball - Portville knocked off by Falconer

The Falconer Golden Falcons basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Portville Panthers to 45 in the Golden Falcons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Golden Falcons now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Silver Creek for a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - I East contest on Friday, February 9. Falconer will battle a Black Knights team coming off a 71-49 league win over Cassadaga Valley (Sinclairville, NY). The Black Knights record now stands at 7-4.
The Panthers (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Cassadaga Valley (Sinclairville, NY). The Cougars enter the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - I East contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Cassadaga Valley was defeated by Silver Creek (Silver Creek, NY), 71-49, in a league contest.
