Washington High School Basketball - Ferris can't hold off Gonzaga Prep

The Gonzaga Prep Bullpups basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Ferris Saxons to 51 in the Bullpups league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bullpups now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hanford for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Gonzaga Prep will battle a Falcons team coming off a 61-43 league loss to Kamiakin (Kennewick, WA). The Falcons record now stands at 4-16.
The Saxons (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Cheney (Cheney, WA). The Blackhawks enter the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Cheney was nudged by North Central (Spokane, WA), 61-58, in a league contest.
