North Carolina High School Basketball - Franklin Academy nudges Research Triangle

February 6, 2024: Research Triangle Park, NC 27709

In Tuesday's league outing, the Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC) basketball squad edged the host Research Triangle Raptors (Research Triangle Park, NC), by a count of 37-32.

The Patriots (17-8) will now prepare for their outing against River Mill (Graham, NC). The Jaguars go into the non-league outing with a 11-13 record. In their last outing, River Mill was tipped by Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC), 82-40, in a league outing.

The Raptors now hold a 6-10 record. They play next when they host NCSSM: Durham for a 1A/2A Super Six outing on Wednesday, February 7. Research Triangle will clash with a Unicorns squad coming off a 61-46 league loss to Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC). The Unicorns record now stands at 8-10.
