ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars (Oneida, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Galva Wildcats (Galva, IL), 68-67 in a league bout.

With the win, ROWVA/Williamsfield upgrades its record to 13-14 on the season. The Cougars host Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL) to clash with the Heat in a Lincoln Trail bout on Friday, February 9. The Heat go into the bout with a record of 1-26.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Mercer County Golden Eagles (Aledo, IL) in a Lincoln Trail bout, on Friday, February 9. Galva will attempt to upgrade on its 8-18 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 22-6 record after their 58-57 league win over Princeville (Princeville, IL).
