The McKinley Red Dragons basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Girard Indians to 43 in the Red Dragons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Dragons now sport a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newton Falls for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. McKinley will meet a Tigers team coming off a 47-32 league win over Champion (Warren, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 14-5.
The Indians (2-16) will now prepare for their game against Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH). The Falcons enter the non-league game with a 9-8 record. In their last game, Jefferson Area knocked off Geneva (Geneva, OH), 72-61, in a league game.
