Marquette Redmen (Marquette, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Gladstone Braves (Gladstone, MI), 75-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Marquette upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Redmen host Escanaba (Escanaba, MI) to play the Eskymos in a Great Northern U.P. bout on Thursday, February 8. The Eskymos go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Escanaba won 52-48 in their recent non-league bout against Munising (Munising, MI)

Next up, the Braves play the Kingsford Flivvers (Kingsford, MI) in a Great Northern U.P. bout, on Thursday, February 8. Gladstone will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Flivvers go into the bout with a 16-2 record after their 70-33 non-league win over West Iron County (Iron River, MI).
