The Harmony Grove Cardinals (Benton, AR) basketball nipped the visiting Glen Rose Beavers (Malvern, AR), 54-53 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cardinals (24-2) will now prepare for their test against Genoa Central (Texarkana, AR). The Dragons go into the 3A Region 7 test with a 8-17 record. In their last test, Genoa Central was tipped by Centerpoint (Amity, AR), 66-40, in a league test.
The Beavers now own a 1-16 record. They play next when they host Jessieville for a 3A Region 7 test on Friday, February 9. Glen Rose will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 55-43 league win over Fouke (Fouke, AR). The Lions record now stands at 21-5.
