Texas High School Basketball - Strawn ripped by Gordon

The Gordon Longhorns basketball team scored 79 points and held the visiting Strawn Greyhounds to 16 in the Longhorns league triumph on Tuesday.
The Longhorns now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bluff Dale for a 1A Region III District 19 contest on Friday, February 9. Gordon will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 73-39 league loss to Gorman (Gorman, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-15.
The Greyhounds (1-11) will now prepare for their contest against Lingleville (Lingleville, TX). The Cardinals enter the 1A Region III District 19 contest with a 15-14 record. In their last contest, Lingleville was routed by Huckabay (Stephenville, TX), 70-46, in a league contest.
