Granite Hills Grizzlies (Porterville, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lindsay Cardinals (Lindsay, CA), 48-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Granite Hills upgrades its record to 12-15 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Strathmore (Strathmore, CA) to play the Spartans in a East Sequoia - Sequoia bout on Thursday, February 8. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 16-10. Strathmore lost 73-54 in their recent league bout against Corcoran (Corcoran, CA)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Orosi Cardinals (Orosi, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Lindsay will attempt to upgrade on its 2-21 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 14-11 record after their 73-54 league loss to Summit Charter Collegiate Academy (Porterville, CA).
