Greenwood Rangers (Midland, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Pecos Eagles (Pecos, TX), 110-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Greenwood upgrades its record to 20-11 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Fort Stockton (Fort Stockton, TX) to play the Panthers in a 4A Region I District 3 bout on Friday, February 9. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-21. Fort Stockton won 67-63 in their recent league bout against Andrews (Andrews, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Seminole Indians (Seminole, TX) in a 4A Region I District 3 bout, on Friday, February 9. Pecos will attempt to upgrade on its 3-21 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 23-10 record after their 53-41 league win over Monahans (Monahans, TX).
