North Middlesex Regional Patriots (Townsend, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA), 49-48 in a league bout.

With the win, North Middlesex Regional upgrades its record to 3-13 on the season. The Patriots host Nashoba Regional (Bolton, MA) to clash with the Wolves in a Midland-Wachusett B bout on Friday, February 9. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Nashoba Regional won 63-49 in their recent non-league bout against Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA)

In their next game, the Crusaders face the Oakmont Regional Spartans (Ashburnham, MA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 13. Groton-Dunstable will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 7-7 record after their 62-48 non-league loss to Marlborough (Marlborough, MA).
