Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Grove City nipped by Sharon

The Sharon Tigers tipped the visiting Grove City Eagles basketball team by a final score of 44-39 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 game, on Friday, February 9. Sharon will attempt to move on its 16-3 season record. The Greyhounds enter the game with a 0-17 record after their 73-28 league loss to Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA).

With the defeat, Grove City moves to 10-9 on the year. The Eagles travel to Greenville (Greenville, PA) to face the Trojans in a District 10 Region 4 game on Thursday, February 8. The Trojans enter the game with a record of 8-10. Greenville lost 60-43 in their recent league game against Hickory (Hermitage, PA)
