Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Boyd Broncos (McKinney, TX), 63-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Guyer upgrades its record to 23-9 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Prosper (Prosper, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 5 bout on Friday, February 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 11-20. Prosper lost 48-33 in their recent league bout against McKinney (McKinney, TX)

Next up, the Broncos clash with the Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 bout, on Friday, February 9. Boyd will attempt to upgrade on its 17-14 season record. The Bengals go into the bout with a 24-9 record after their 40-38 league loss to Rock Hill (Frisco, TX).
