The Haddam-Killingworth Cougars basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting North Branford Thunderbirds to 50 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Regional for a Shoreline contest on Friday, February 9. Haddam-Killingworth will battle a Warriors team coming off a 59-44 league loss to Cromwell (Cromwell, CT). The Warriors record now stands at 4-12.

The Thunderbirds (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Morgan (Clinton, CT). The Huskies come into the Shoreline contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Morgan dropped by East Hampton (East Hampton, CT), 79-64, in a league contest.
