In Tuesday's league outing, the Heritage Pioneers (Lynchburg, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA), by a count of 90-41.

The Pioneers (14-4) will now prepare for their outing against Altavista (Altavista, VA). The Colonels go into the non-league outing with a 15-4 record. In their last outing, Altavista smashed Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA), 66-64, in a non-league outing.

The Minutemen now hold a 1-19 record. They play next when they travel to Rustburg for a Seminole outing on Friday, February 9. Liberty will clash with a Red Devils squad coming off a 77-50 league win over Amherst County (Amherst, VA). The Red Devils record now stands at 17-2.
